Kuala Lumpur – Bangkok

We picked the Bull and the Beast up near KL. They survived the boat trip. The people from the shipping company invited us for Bak Kut Teh, delicious Chinese pork and offered us a place to stay.

On the way to Georgetown we visited the fireflies and the ducks around Selangor. Georgetown is a nice little town to relax for a few days with awesome (Indian) food.

Time to cross the border and go to Thailand. With a little bit of patience we managed to enter Thailand without any big problems.
We showed them the permit, but they didn't seem to know what it really was.

Because of the (rainy) weather we decided to stay on the east coast of Thailand; Ko Lanta and Ao Nang. Touristy but nice.
Khao Sok NP was a very nice change of scenery. Breathtaking mountains surrounded by water. Hiking, caves and sleeping on the water for a few days.

Leaving southern Thailand we reached Bangkok just in time to celebrate New Years Eve.
